What we keep about you, and why.
Pepper Venture Studio is run by Pepper Tech AB, Stockholm, Sweden. Pepper Tech AB is the controller for the personal data described here. Questions or requests: marvin@peppercodeacademy.com. Last updated 8 October 2026.
Visiting the site
We count visits with Umami, which uses no cookies and stores no personal data. If you say yes when the site asks, PostHog (EU servers) records how you use the public pages so we can improve them. Anything you type is masked and never recorded. Nothing is recorded until you say yes, and you can change your answer at any time under Recording settings at the bottom of every page.
Submitting an idea
When you submit an idea or build a blueprint, we store your name, your email address and what you write. During the blueprint interview your answers are sent to Anthropic, whose Claude model writes the next question. We read every idea, and a copy is emailed to us. We use your details only to answer you about your idea; nothing else is sent to your address. We keep a submission until you ask us to delete it. Your draft is also saved in your own browser so you can continue later; clearing the site's data in your browser removes it.
Signing in
Team members and partners sign in with Google or with a one-time code sent by email. We store your name, email address and Google account id, and keep you signed in for up to 30 days. Who may see what is decided by our member list, not by the sign-in itself.
Companies we contact
To find customers for the companies we build, we collect business information from Statistics Sweden's company register and from companies' own websites: company name, address, phone, and contact details published there, sometimes the name and role of a person in charge. We contact businesses only, we respect the register's opt-out flags, and we never contact sole traders from this list. If you are contacted and want us to stop, or want your details removed, write to us and we will delete them. If you book a demo, we keep the name, email, phone and message you give us to arrange it.
Who processes the data for us
- Convex (database and backend, EU servers in Ireland)
- Anthropic (AI model for the blueprint interview and for demos, USA)
- Google (sign-in)
- Resend and Macaly (sending emails and sign-in codes)
- PostHog (EU) and Umami (EU) (site statistics and, with your consent, recordings)
- Cloudflare and Vercel (hosting and DNS)
Data that leaves the EU is covered by the EU's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Legal basis
Answering your idea and arranging a demo you booked: steps you asked for. Signing in: our agreement with you. Site recordings: your consent. Statistics and contacting businesses: our legitimate interest in running and growing the studio, which you can object to at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we have about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, and take a copy with you. Write to marvin@peppercodeacademy.com and we answer within a month. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
